You don’t have to go through
your struggles alone
This one goes out to all the folks reeling from heartbreak, stuck in a loop of self-doubt and worry, or regularly replaying their trauma.
If you’re struggling with relationship issues or breakups, we’ll use your personal values to identify how to move forward and restructure unhelpful thought patterns.
For those having difficulty with trauma triggers we will dive into identifying core beliefs keeping you stuck and processing through events attached to those events to help you build more beneficial beliefs.
Folks dealing with anxiety and fear will learn skills to lean into discomfort instead of avoiding it, and learning how to tolerate and decrease it with mindfulness, body work, and exposures. If this catches your interest, head on over to my contact page to schedule a consult call.
Treatment Areas
PTSD and Trauma
Healing from trauma is about more than just talking through what happened—it’s about helping your brain and body recognize that the danger has passed. Trauma often leaves behind quiet scripts and physical patterns that tell you you're still unsafe. Together, we will gently identify these protective patterns, process the memories that still carry an emotional charge using evidence-based approaches like EMDR, and build healthier, more adaptive beliefs. Along the way, you’ll learn practical skills to regulate your nervous system, reduce triggers, and feel truly present and connected in your daily life.
Depression
Depression has a way of making even the smallest tasks feel monumental, leaving you feeling disconnected from yourself and the life you want to live. It thrives on isolation and inactivity. Our work together will focus on breaking this cycle through gentle, intentional action—building motivation from the ground up rather than waiting for it to appear. We will address the thought patterns that keep you feeling heavy while actively reconnecting you to your values, daily routines, and a sense of self-compassion.
Anxiety
Anxiety is a master manipulator. It often convinces us that the only way to feel safe is to avoid what makes us uncomfortable—but avoidance is exactly what keeps anxiety alive. In our sessions, we won’t just talk about your fears; we will work together to gradually face the situations, thoughts, and physical sensations you’ve been avoiding, building real proof that you can handle them. Drawing from CBT, ACT, and mindfulness, you will learn how to tolerate uncertainty, calm your nervous system, and stop letting fear dictate your decisions.
Dating Issues and Heartbreak
Whether you’re navigating the sting of a recent breakup, noticing a pattern of unhealthy relationship dynamics, or feeling burned out by modern dating, therapy offers a steady space to process the pain and gain clarity. Together, we’ll look closely at unhelpful relationship patterns, strengthen your core sense of self, and use your personal values as a compass for choosing partnerships. My approach here is both deeply supportive and direct—offering practical tools alongside the space you need to grieve and heal.
OCD
OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) can feel exhausting, pulling you into relentless cycles of intrusive thoughts, compulsions, reassurance seeking, and doubt. It can make you feel like you are constantly on trial. Together, we’ll use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD—to help you break free from these exhausting loops. You’ll learn how to respond differently to intrusive thoughts, not by fighting to get rid of them, but by changing your relationship with them so they naturally lose their power over your life.
Women’s Issues
Women carry an immense, often invisible load related to career, identity, perfectionism, body image, and the complex transitions of motherhood. I provide a dedicated, judgment-free space to unpack these pressures. Together, we will work on dismantling the "should’s" that dictate your life, developing healthier boundaries, and cultivating a deeper, unshakeable self-trust so you can move forward feeling balanced and empowered.
Family Cultural Expectations and Boundary Issues
Whether you’re struggling to set boundaries, feeling responsible for everyone else’s happiness, or trying to balance your own needs with family loyalty, I can help you navigate these relationships with clarity. I understand that for many people—especially those navigating cultural, immigrant, or multigenerational family dynamics—setting boundaries isn’t as simple as just saying “no.” It is deeply nuanced. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck and build communication skills that honor your personal growth without requiring you to reject the culture, history, or people you love.
Life Transitions
Major life changes—even the exciting, positive ones like starting a new career, becoming a parent, or moving—can bring an unexpected wave of uncertainty, anxiety, and grief for the chapter left behind. If you are currently rewriting your identity or navigating a massive shift, we will use therapy to process the complex emotions that come with change. We will build practical coping strategies to steady you during the messy middle and map out a clear path forward that feels authentic to who you are now.
Interventions
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)
When we experience trauma or high-stress events, our brains can store those memories incorrectly, keeping them "stuck" in the nervous system. EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that replicates the natural processing your brain does during sleep. By using bilateral stimulation—such as gentle eye movements or tapping—we tax your working memory, allowing your brain to finally file those painful experiences away. The goal isn't to forget what happened, but to remove the emotional sting so the past stops hijacking your present life.

Attachment-Informed Therapy
Our earliest relationships act as the blueprint for how we see ourselves, connect with others, and respond to distress. If those early bonds felt unpredictable or unsafe, it can show up today as people-pleasing, fear of abandonment, or emotional walls. An attachment-informed approach helps us trace these modern relational patterns back to their roots. By understanding where these defenses came from, we can heal old emotional wounds, build healthier adult relationships, and cultivate a deep internal sense of security.
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
Our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are constantly talking to one another. When we get stuck in a painful emotional loop, it’s usually because an unhelpful core belief or thought pattern is driving the bus. CBT is a highly practical, collaborative approach where we examine these automatic thoughts, challenge the ones that are lying to you, and replace them with more balanced, realistic perspectives that change how you feel and act.

Internal Parts Work
We all have different "parts" of ourselves that take the wheel depending on the situation. You might recognize the part that overthinks, the part that strives for perfection, the part that avoids conflict at all costs, or the inner critic. In parts work, we approach these different sides of you with curiosity instead of judgment. By understanding that even your most frustrating behaviors started as a way to protect you, you can get these parts working together instead of pulling you in opposite directions.
ERP (Exposure & Response Prevention)
Considered the gold standard treatment for OCD and severe anxiety, ERP targets the cycle of fear and relief. When anxiety spikes, our instinct is to avoid or perform a ritual (a compulsion) to feel safe. While that offers temporary relief, it actually teaches your brain that the danger was real. In ERP, we will gradually and safely face your triggers together without giving into the urge to avoid or fix it. Over time, your nervous system learns that the anxiety naturally peaks and fades all on its own, breaking the cycle of doubt.

Solution-Focused Therapy
While exploring the past has immense value, there are times when you don't need a deep-dive analysis—you need practical strategies to handle what is right in front of you. Solution-Focused Therapy is a brief, future-oriented approach. Instead of obsessing over the mechanics of the problem, we map out your existing strengths, identify what is already working, and co-create clear, actionable steps to get you moving forward immediately.
ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy)
So much suffering comes from the exhausting battle of trying to fight or eliminate our difficult thoughts and feelings. ACT flips the script. Instead of waiting until you are completely "anxiety-free" or "perfectly happy" to start living, ACT teaches you how to expand your capacity to tolerate discomfort. We focus on psychological flexibility—learning to coexist with difficult internal experiences while taking bold, meaningful steps toward what truly matters to you.

Mindfulness
Mindfulness is simply the practice of anchored awareness—paying attention to the present moment without immediately judging it or trying to fix it. When racing thoughts take over, mindfulness gives you the tools to pause, step out of autopilot, and regulate your nervous system. It transforms you from someone who is at the mercy of their chaotic emotional reactions into an intentional observer who can choose how to respond.
Action-Oriented Coaching
Therapy requires deep reflection, but it also demands real-world action. To bridge the gap between insight and change, I integrate an action-oriented coaching style into our work. This means our sessions will often be highly collaborative and direct. We will set clear goals, develop practical coping tools, and build the tangible confidence you need to take meaningful steps outside of the therapy room.
